My name is Ryan Melvey. I am currently working in corporate finance for a large e-commerce company but I like to keep an eye on the liquidation list to see if the market is ever doing something irrational. I find the liquidation list interesting because it gets to the heart of what it means to be a shareholder. Do you own a fractional part of a business or a mere piece of paper? I find that fascinating. Additionally, I think there can be seem good opportunities to make confident purchases during wide market crashes.
